As we continue to grow, we are strengthening our Finance team and looking for an Accounts Payable Lead who will play a key role in managing payment operations, financial reporting, and risk controls.

The Role

We are looking for a skilled and disciplined Accounts Payable Lead with strong experience in fintech, lending, and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

  • Manage lending operations accounting, including loan disbursements, repayments, and interest calculations

  • Monitor payment reconciliations and ensure transaction accuracy

  • Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to support strategic decisions

  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial integrity

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payable reports

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory filings

  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting

  • Assess financial risks and implement mitigation strategies

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize lending and payment operations

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 6+ years of experience in payables, reconciliation, or financial operations

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts independently

  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN, CPA) is preferred
